J. Harold Neff



Because I moved some pieces out to the show at the Unitarian Unversalist Church, I have been able to bring some old pieces out where I can see them.

This is based on a photo of another soldier who served with me in Northern Italy. It seemed we lived in a fog bank for nine months. Our base was in the valley of the Po River. I like the contrast of his skin tones, the "washed out" background, and his black peacoat.

This was done no later than the 80s.
